The Board of Supervisors of Upper Nazareth Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, will conduct Public Hearing and consider adoption of the following proposed Ordinance at its Regular Meeting on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Upper Nazareth Township Municipal Building, 100 Newport Avenue, Upper Nazareth Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
The Board of Supervisors invite public comment on the proposed Ordinance, the following of which is only a summary:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE UPPER NAZARETH TOWNSHIP NON-UNIFORM PENSION PLAN ADMINISTERED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT SYSTEM PURSUANT TO ARTICLE IV OF THE PENNSYLVANIA MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT LAW: AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY ALL PROVISIONS OF THE PENNSYLVANIA MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT LAW, AS AMENDED, AND AS APPLICIABLE TO MEMBER MUNICIPALITIES.
