SUPERVISOR COMMENTS

The Tadmor warehouse developer presented several ideas for calming traffic on Gun Club Road including Speed Humps and “No Trucks” signs. The developer pointed out that trucks from the facility should only be using the exit onto Route 248 and not traveling up to Newburg Road. Mike Rinker said he would support the signs but not the Speed Humps. Scott Sylvainus pointed out that Speed Humps cause maintenance problems and issues with noise.

A Gun Club Road resident said he is concerned about and increase in traffic on the road and potential affects on school bus stops and would like to see the township introduce some measures to calm traffic.

Kristin Mullen asked the developer about a recently opened sinkhole on Gun Club Road and pointed out that there weren’t any cones around it. The developer said they were aware of the sinkhole and would address it.
