The Upper Nazareth Yard Waste facility at 155 Friedenstahl Avenue opens on Saturday, April 19th. It will close on November 22nd.
Hours of operation are Saturdays from 10AM – 2PM and Wednesdays from 12 Noon to 6 PM.
Accepted Material: Hedge Trimmings, Shrubs, Garden and plant residue, Twigs, Branches 4” in diameter or smaller. Leaves must be kept separate for processing, do not mix with other yard waste.
There is also a booth available for metal recycling.
Unacceptable Material: grass, bamboo, tree parts or stumps, loose soil, sod, lumber, pressure-treated wood, railroad ties, food waste, hay, stray, any type of plastic or synthetic fibers, pieces of wood bigger than 4″ in diameter, human or animal excrement, contaminated soil, garden pots, rocks, glass or trash.
