PUBLIC COMMENTS

Two residents from the original section of Penn Allen Road reported problems with speeding through their neighborhood, saying several animals have been hit. Mike Rinker asked the Chief of Police to send an officer to check it out. They also reported a problem with the shoulders of the road saying that, in some sections, there’s a six inch drop off which has caused flat tires. Shawn Shupe from Public Works said he would check it out and that the road is too narrow for the amount of traffic it is getting lately.

A 5th Street resident thanked the Supervisors for the ‘no parking during school hours’ ordinance they passed for roads east of the High School.

Bob Eyer, who is a candidate for Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in the May 20th Primary, introduced himself and gave a brief overview of his qualifications for the position: he’s the First Assistant to the DA and has 33 years of legal experience working in Northampton County.
