Residents from Bath Pike complained about lights being on at Tuskes Park past 10:30PM and also loud music playing at night. The Public Works Director said people have changed the settings on some of the timers.
Another complaint included personnel from Bath Fire Company using their lights and sirens to travel down Bath Pike most days at 3:30PM, creating a dangerous situation.
A 4th Street resident complained about the Tax Collector’s failure to cash one of his checks for his Real Estate tax bill. The Supervisors voted to approve a reimbursement of $13.12. Supervisor Brian Sayago proposed that, instead of using an elected Tax Collector, the township explore switching to a company like Keystone to collect the taxes—a move he claimed could save the township money. Gary Asteak said that such a move could not be taken until after the tax collector’s current term expired. The Supervisors requested the Township manager do some research into this proposal since the tax collector also handles payments for the school taxes.

In reference to a house at Route 946 near Bushkill Twp. which was recently hit by a car, Gary said he had spoken to the owner about the township acquiring it but the owner seemed reluctant to sell. The Township plans to move forward with the traffic study.
