Once again, there was no statement on the union contract between the district and Nazareth Teachers.
Community Announcements
Scores of people were in attendance for a board resolution to rename Bushkill Elementary School. The school will now be known as the Kenneth N. Butz, Jr. Elementary School in honor of the long-time school employee and board member. Mr. Butz retired from Bushkill Elementary after serving as the principal there for thirty years. He’s served on the school board since 2003.
- The vote on the resolution was not unanimous. Mr. Butz abstained.
