Nazareth Area School Board Meeting – October 17, 2016
Community Concerns
A parent expressed concerns about the public voting at Butz Elementary School on Nov. 8th while school is in session.
- Riker previously tried to bar elections from being held in Nazareth schools but a judge threw it out
- There will be more police outside the school on Nov. 8th to keep control. The school will have gates in the hallways to separate voters from student areas
- Riker says security of the students comes first but they think there will be enough security that it is not necessary to close school that day.

Item VII, XI and XIII passed.
