The Northampton County PA Association of School Retirees is accepting applications for a $1,000 grant to be awarded to an educator in the Nazareth Area School District. This grant is awarded annually to a different school district in Northampton County in honor of an outstanding retired educator. This year’s honoree is Dr. Bill Brackbill, former NASD Superintendent and well-known community volunteer. The plan/project should exhibit innovative ideas, demonstrate lasting merit, provide student involvement and may be collaborative. And educator in any discipline may apply and is not limited to the classroom. For more information, contact the Superintendent’s office or school principal. The deadline is April 30th.
