NASD to vote on raising school taxes 3.6%

At the April 27, 2021 meeting, the School Board voted unamiously to advance a motion to raise school taxes 3.6% or 2.01 mils for a total of 57.75 mils. The final vote is scheduled for June 8th.

Nazareth Area School District 2021-2022 Proposed Final Budget

Notice is given that the 2021-22 proposed final budget is available for public inspection at the Nazareth Area School District website: If an individual is unable to access the Proposed Final Budget on the District website, a printed copy may be optained by contacting the following individual in the following manner: Stuart Whiteleather – 610-759-1170 ext. 1113. Final Budget adoption is expected at the school board meeting to be held at 7 p.m. on June 8, 2021.

  1. I get about unforeseen expenses and all that . How about all involved take a pay cut like all else have to ease the burden on all ?


    1. This blog only reports on local governmental actions. If you’re upset about the budget you’ll have to contact NASD directly or speak with some of the school board members. Several of them are running for reelection right now.
