The Board of Supervisors of Upper Nazareth Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, will conduct Public Hearing and consider adoption of the following proposed Ordinance at its Regular Meeting on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 7:00 PM.
The Board of Supervisors invite public comment on the proposed Ordinance, the following of which is only a summary.
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING OWNERS FROM ALLOWING LIVESTOCK TO RUN AT-LARGE UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS OR GOUNDS OF UPPER NAZARETH TOWNSHIP OR UPON THE PROPERTY OF ANY PERSON OTHER THAN THE OWNER, CUSTODIAN, OR KEEPER OF SUCH LIVESTOCK, REQUIRING THAT EVERY OWNER OR CUSTODIAN OF REAL PROPERTY UPON WHICH LIVESTOCK IS HOUSED, STABLED, OR PENNED OR OTHERWIDE KEPT SHALL FENCE THE AREA IN WHICH LIVESTOCK IS PERMITTED TO GRACE UNATTENDED AND PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for public inspection at the Upper Nazareth Township Municipal Building, 100 Newport Avenue, Nazareth, Pennsylvania, between the house of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday and on the Township website. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are also available for public inspection at the Northampton County Law Librar, Northampton County Courthouse, 669 Washington Street, Easton, Pennsylvania and The Express Times, 18 Centre Square, Easton, Pennsylvania.
