PUBLIC COMMENT
Two men introduced themselves to the Supervisors; one volunteering to serve as a liaison to the NBMA Board and the other volunteering to serve on the Vacancy Board
UPDATE ON PROJECT TADMOR
The Township Engineer said that he’s received the second round of comments back from Northfolk Southern. Township Solicitor Gary Asteak reported that all easements have been approved; he’s received a review letter from PennDOT and things are moving along. The township anticipates final approval of the project in the Spring.
ENGINEER
Permits for UGI Gas to update equipment along East Lawn Road, Liberty St., Mitchell, St., El Reno, etc. have been received and work has already begun
Approval for the Engineer to complete a survey of the Fieldview Basin for the MS4 program
SOLICITOR
Supervisors approved the request from Morningstar at a Conditional Use Hearing held before the Supervisors meeting.
Gary Asteak reported that the rat issue on St. Elmo Street has been successfully handled.
YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK
Approval to accept a $20,000 Grow NorCo grant from Northampton County for a technology upgrade
Approval to make a $45K contribution to the Police Pension Supplement Account. Scott Sylvanius reported that there is an 82% probability that the fund will meet its future obligations, but it would be better if those odds were closer to 90%.
An application for a $413K grant for PA Small Water & Sewer program has been submitted.
Approval to hire a part-time Public Works employee.
Approval to take Truck #7 out of service and put it up for sale on Municibid.
ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The EAC will conduct an outreach program soon, sending mailings to residents.
