Awards
The Nazareth School District recognized 3 former teachers for “I Touched the Future” Awards
- June Blair – a computer teacher at Lower Nazareth Elementary School
- William J. Bondle – Music teacher
- Kathy Ramano – A Middle and High School Science teacher
Skills USA – Pennsylvania competition
- Deven Phillips won 2nd place at the competition in Hershey for Media and Film
- J. Bostian won 1st place for the state skills competition in electronics. T.J. now moves to the national competition
Principal Davis and Mrs. Pritchard were awarded an Honorable Mention from the IU for work with Aevidum—a group that helps students with problems.
Agenda Items
Item IV, V, VI, VII, & VII passed with a strong objection from Dr. Stubitz to item IV J which will pay out $206,760 for a Benchmark Literacy Program for use in grades 1 through 3. Dr. Stubitz raised a question about too much money being paid out for materials and predicted a problem with the upcoming budget.
