Upper Nazareth Supervisor’s Meeting – October 19, 2016
The supervisors interviewed four applicants for the open supervisor position, appointing Robert Disbro to the board. The other applicants were urged to consider taking positions on the Recreation and Zoning boards.

There will be a Halloween party/Trick-or-Treat event at the Township hall on October 31st, starting at 5:30.
The Library raised $9,400 through their Touch-A-Truck event. They requested to schedule the event for next year on October 7th.
The RNC franchise is being acquired by another conglomerate (Radiate Holding Company–held by Yankee Holding.). There should be no impact on the township. There is no competition for cable providers in our area — an agreement passed previously was good for forever.
The township manager was appointed to the Monocacy Creek Watershed committee. The first meeting with be Wednesday, 10/26.
Your Tax Dollars at Work
There was a discussion about the escrow account being adequately funded. There are 14 projects currently taking place through the township, including testing for lead.
Approval of $1,641.91 to pay for CTL traffic light inspection.
Approval of 2 bills to pay PennDOT for inspections.
Approval of $26,132 to pay Schlouch Inc for construction of the traffic light. This was paid out of grant money.
Schlouch requested an additional $13,000 for costs due to conditions which were out of their control. Board approved this payment.
Eagles Landing Phase 3C requested a letter of credit reduction. The board approved reducing it to $186,000.70.
