Nazareth School Board General Meeting – March 27,2017

Student Recognition

Intermediate School

Odyssey of the Mind students won a 1^st place in the regional competition and 4^th place at state’s.

STEM Design Challenge winners are also going to a state competition. The 4^th and 5^th graders won 1^st place.

There were six semi-finalists and one national finalists for the Math Con Contest. The national finalist will be traveling to Chicago next month for the competition.

High School

Jack Doyle was announced as a finalist for a National Merit Scholarship.

The High School theater group is putting on Mary Poppins over the next two weekends. They serenaded the school board with a fun rendition of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

Agenda Items

At the March 20^th meeting Dr. Stubitz said she would present her objections to the proposed budget. Tonight, she said she would go over her reasoning during the final vote for the budget.
