                                Nazareth Area School Board Meeting

                                              September 21, 2015

 

School Board members made no statements on the contract negotiations with district teachers despite the 20 plus members of the Nazareth Area Education Association (NAEA) sitting in a sea of orange on one side of the room.  Tonight’s meeting lasted less than 15 minutes. In all the meetings I’ve attended, I’ve never seen the School Board conduct business so fast.

Announcements

  • Students from the Career Institute of Technology (CIT) will begin work on the dug out at the baseball field soon
  • The Craft Show at CIT will be held on October 3rd. If you support CIT students and the programs they attend, please consider doing some of your holiday shopping there
  • The Audit meeting, scheduled for September 22nd, has been cancelled

The next School Board meeting will be held on Monday, September 28th

 

Becky Bartlett is a candidate for Upper Nazareth Supervisor. The election will be held on November 3rd.
