PUBLIC COMMENT
A resident on Broad Street Extension asked about the house on W. St. Elmo Street which shows evidence of hoarding and a rat infestation and the rats are spreading throughout the neighborhood. She claims the house poses both a fire and health risk. Shawn Shupe said Public Works employees had witnessed rats running across the street during a recent paving project. The case has been reported to Area Agency on Aging but the caseworker is having trouble making contact with the owner.
Another resident questioned supervisors about a statue in the municipal planning code. His complaints appeared to have something to do with the potential for the township harming the value of his property.
