COURTESY OF THE FLOOR

A Mitchell Ave resident complained again about 9 Public Works employees and 1 supervisor attending a 2-day PSATS conference, claiming it was fiscally irresponsible and asking for more transparency. Kristin Mullen pointed out that the conference is for educational purposes and the cost is covered in the 2026 budget.

The same resident also reported that there is a crack in the new concrete steps in the front of the building. Shawn Shupe said the issue is with the contractor and he’s already spoken to him about it.

The resident also asked Shawn about streetlights in the township. Shawn said that Met Ed owns some, the township owns others and the township has a maintenance contract with Met Ed.
